Human traffickers, firearms and drug dealers, cybercriminals and exploiters of children – at the National Crime Agency (NCA), we work at the cutting edge of law enforcement, tackling those posing the most serious threat to UK life. Our in-house legal department sits at the heart of the Agency, and provides specialist support across our entire organisation.
Our NCA officers in the legal team support the Agency’s mission to lead the fight against serious and organised crime, using their legal skills and judgement to contribute to the strategic direction of the NCA by providing specialist legal advice.
Your role
We’re currently recruiting exceptional solicitors and barristers who have strong post-qualification experience in procurement law. You will be part of the Commercial and Employment Law Team and provide legal advice on procurement law to the NCA. The Commercial and Employment Law Team plays a crucial role in enabling the Agency to lawfully procure high quality and value for money goods, works and services.

Your background
To apply for this role you must be a Solicitor or Barrister qualified to practise in England and Wales or Northern Ireland, with strong post qualification experience. You’ll have significant experience of procurement law, highly reliable judgement and a good appreciation of legal risk.
