As an Employment Associate or Principal Associate (depending on experience) you will manage a mixed caseload of employment work, including advocacy, and provide HR employment law advice to clients, primarily within the healthcare sector.
Main duties and responsibilities- Manage a mixed caseload of employment work within the healthcare sector
- Provide HR employment law advice
- Conduct advocacy at Employment Tribunals
- Supervise junior members of the team
- Draft and prepare letters, e-mails, documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reports
- Draft articles and legal updates
- Assist with business development initiatives including training and networking
- Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs
- Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values and procedures
- Achieve set financial and chargeable targets

About You
- 3+ - 8 years PQE
- Prior experience of and familiarity with the healthcare sector is desirable
- Ability to manage a complex caseload of Employment Tribunal cases
- Advocacy experience
- Excellent team work skills
- Strong academics and technical knowledge
- Ability to supervise more junior members of the team
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise
