Job Description:

Sellick Partnership are working with a well established and vibrant public sector organisation in the North East who are looking for a someone to join the team as a Prosecutions Lawyer on a locum basis. The organisation are flexible with remote working, however court attendance will be required.

The role will be very long-term, and this opportunity will give you the chance to deal with a diverse range of cases.

The duties of the Prosecutions Lawyer will include:

  • Decision-making in regulator matters
  • Fly-tipping and related environmental matters, public nuisance
  • Taxi offences, Investigation training, Anti-social behaviour
  • Advice regarding injunctions/police liaison/defining responsibilities
  • Working closely with senior managers in the team

Our client is flexible with someones previous experience, they are open to someone coming from either a private practice or public sector background. For this opening you must be either qualified as a Solicitor or Cilex qualified.
