Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established University in the North West who are looking for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join to join their small, friendly Legal team on an interim basis.
By joining their small in-house Legal team, you will be given incredible exposure to a range of legal work, which you may not otherwise find in bigger, more compartmentalised teams. No two days are the same!
Commercial Contracts Solicitor Key Responsibilities include:
- Negotiating, drafting and advising on a variety of commercial agreements including:
- Research agreements
- Consultancy agreement
- NDAs
- IP licensing agreements
- Agreements concerning the provision of goods and services
- Dealing with a varied range of matters including but not limited to student disputes, safeguarding, data protection, IT contracts, Library software, licensing agreements, and Procurement
Public sector experience is desirable, but we welcome applications from an in-house commercial background.
The successful candidate will be joining a supportive team. On offer is a competitive hourly rate and flexible working arrangements. The initial contract will be for 3-6 months.
