Legal Services Manager and Deputy Monitoring Officer

Hybrid working arrangement

£60 - £75 hourly rate depending on experience.

Sellick Partnership are delighted to be working with a local authority to recruit a Legal Services Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced candidates wanting to develop their managerial experience.

This role is a hybrid working arrangement, on a 6-month locum basis, with office attendance required once a week.

Responsibilities of the Legal Services Manager include:

  • Managing a small team
  • Assisting with litigation matters
  • Assisting with regulatory matters
  • Deputising for the Director of Legal
  • Supporting on governance issues

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within senior management positions and be committed to ensuring the Legal Services at this local authority operate efficiently.

Past management within Local Government is ideal, a background within commercial contracts or litigation is preferable.
