Duration: 3-month ongoing

Venn Group’s North legal team are working with a forward thinking Yorkshire based Local Authority to recruit an experienced SEN Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who demonstrates a strong knowledge and experience of dealing with a varied SEN caseload including appeals.
Local Government experience is preferable but not essential for this role provided there is significant relevant experience.
Duties shall include: Dealing with all aspects of appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Tribunal, including drafting responses to appeals, instructing expert witnesses, dealing with interim applications, effectively negotiating and resolving appeals
