The locuming market has picked up considerably, with that we are looking for a Solicitor/CILEx/Barrister with experience in Licensing & Prosecutions.
Duties of the role:
• Attend and provide advice to Licensing Committee.
• Represent the Council at Appeals against Licensing Committee decisions.
• To provide advice and specialist support in relation to all areas of regulatory work including trading standards, enforcement action, non school attendance, dangerous structures, fraud, breaches of licensing conditions.
• To represent the Council and other clients in the magistrates court, county court or crown court as and when required. All applicants must hold a current practising certificate
