Several exciting opportunities are available to join our busy Legal Service at Dorset County Council, in the picturesque county town of Dorchester. We are seeking knowledgeable, passionate and creative-thinking Lawyers, who want to help us make a difference.

We are looking for applicants with good technical knowledge (ideally in a Local Government context although this is not essential) and able to demonstrate a “can do” approach. 

You must be organised and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision while still being a valuable team player. Applicants must also have excellent communication skills enabling them to build strong relationships with clients.

Each post is open to qualified Solicitors, Barristers and Fellows of CILEX that are able to meet the specific requirements of the roles.
