The team…
Legal and Democratic Services are looking to appoint a full-time experienced Planning and Highways Lawyer to work within the Property, Planning and Highways Law team.

About the role….                                                                                   
The post holder will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to both officers and members on a diverse range of planning and highway related matters. Duties will include working on large development projects, managing a mixed caseload of a variety of planning related matters to include but not limited to, planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, contentious planning matters such as enforcement, compulsory purchase, judicial reviews, statutory challenges and appeals. The post holder will also be required to draft and advise on traffic regulation orders and public rights of way matters.

Applicants must have PQE in planning and highway law experience and working as part of a team.
